Jared Verse’s parents, Eric and Jannienne Verse, have played a crucial role in his upbringing and football career. Originally from North California, the family moved to Pennsylvania for his father’s job at a hospital. Eric has been especially supportive, motivating Jared to excel in football. During the COVID-19 pandemic, when the world was dealing with the lockdown phase, they even created a home gym and provided nutritious meals to help their son train.

Their unwavering support has been vital for Jared’s success. When Verse entered the transfer portal from the University of Albany, Jannienne converted their dining room into a decision room with recruitment letters covering the walls. With her help, Jared chose Florida State to continue his career.

Jared relies on his mother’s knowledge and guidance when making important decisions about his future. In an interview, around two years ago, he mentioned about his family and the recruitment postcards, “My mom knows more than me. It’s good to sit down with my family, look at everything, and lay it out.

It is the parents’ love and support that the 23-year-old athlete has now become a well-rounded athlete, and this became clear during the Combine.
