From winning the College Football Playoff National Championship as a sophomore in 2020 to 274 receptions in four seasons, the WR is among the league’s premier players. Chase’s upper-tier play strength and big-play ability have a class of its own.

And that’s not enough! Ja’Marr created several records for the Bengals, including being the third player in NFL history to have multiple games with at least 10 receptions, 150 receiving yards, and two receiving touchdowns before turning 25. But who inspires the Cincinnati player to step up his game? Well, Chase’s parents are his inspiration. And when the wide receiver was selected by the Bengals, his parents couldn’t be any happier!

Who is Ja’Marr Chase’s mom, Toleah?

“It’s a blessing and I’m so pleased with Ja’Marr,” this is what Ja’Marr Chase’s mama Toleah says about her player son. Sharing a strong bond with the wide receiver, she is happy for the rising star! And how can Ja’Marr not return the love to his mom?

When the Bengals player got his first paycheck, he gifted his mama a luxurious black Maserati. “It was like a midnight black with red interior Mazzi,” that is how Ja’Marr defines the car. And that’s not all! Chase even paid off her home loans.

Talking about her son, Toleah says, “He is setting all of his goals and reaching them. Just to be a finalist, even if he doesn’t win, that’s still good. That means he’s awesome.” Mrs Chase often brings to mind how Ja’Marr has grown up.

With pride and love in her voice, she says that from being an energetic and mischievous boy to becoming a calm and composed man; he has come a long way. However, Toleah likes to keep her life private, and not much is known about her profession and education. But one thing is for sure, Toleah is super supportive of her son’s dreams!

Who is the WR’s dad, Jimmy?

Ja’Marr Chase’s dad, Jimmy Chase juggles many balls. He not only works as a Drug Court Clinician but also serves as the Case Manager at the Criminal District Court in Orleans Parish. Talking about his son, Jimmy says, “To have your child or your son set some goals for himself and actually reach some of those goals, doing what he loves to do; it’s a beautiful thing, a life-changing thing.”

However, the super proud dad once had a rocky relationship with Chase during his teenage years. But, with time, their bond became stronger, and interestingly, the rock-solid father is the man behind Chase’s success!

Despite having a tough past, Mr. Chase believes he was hard on his son to make him the best version of himself. As Chase was highly energetic since childhood, it became difficult for the parents to handle his mischief at home. Eventually, Jimmy introduced him to football, signing up for the most beautiful surprise of his life!

Jimmy and Toleah Chase expressed their pride in their son after his NFL draft pick. Jimmy said, “You took all the information I gave you and used it in the right way. I couldn’t be any prouder of you, son.” The father believes that Ja’Marr has got everything he was trying to give him. And these words were enough to make the wide receiver cry!
