The former Badgers player feels blessed to have the most supportive parents Mario and Jennifer Guerendo in his life. Interestingly, just like him, his mom, Jennifer Guerendo was also involved in athletics. She is a former high school track and field athlete who has been by his side throughout his life journey. Being an athletic mother, Jennifer raised him by developing sports values and ethics in him in Avon, Indiana. She never fails to cheer out for him and adore Isaac’s career achievements.

A few months back in June, during an interview with the NY Times, Isaac’s mother, Jennifer profoundly recalled his big race during a family gathering at a park in southern Indiana. His mom adored Isaac for his amazing speed at his young age. At that time, he was just 5 years old and stunned everyone out there after beating his twice-age cousins in the race.
“He blew past both of those boys. And my sister was like, ‘What in the heck!’ Isaac was just so much faster than everyone else even at that young age,” his mom remarked. It indeed showcased that Jennifer realized his athletic prowess at a young age. His mom’s encouragement did not just motivate him but also helped him stay grounded, for which he was ever thankful.
