And the person behind these celebrations and happiness is his little daughter.

Eagles WR Devonta Smith is currently in a relationship with his girlfriend, Mya Danielle. Although it’s not known since when the two have been together, the first time they made a public appearance with each other was last year. It was when Danielle, who is a native of the South and a 2021 graduate from Southern University A&M in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was spotted with the athlete at the courtside of a sporting event.

Together the couple shares a daughter named Kyse Danielle, whom Devonta Smith and his partner introduced to their fans on social media on October 7, 2023. However, Kyse’s original date of birth is reported to be September 9th as per Smith’s Instagram post. In that upload, the wide receiver wrote, “Happy 1st Birthday to my Little Sour Patch! (with an emotional emoji).”

In the shared carousel, Devonta Smith’s daughter, Kyse, can be seen wearing a cute little pink frock with two white bow clips tying her hairs. The background was also covered in a pink and white setting, covered with balloons and stars. In addition to that, fans could also see a big cutout of “Hello Kitty,” the fictional character. But the twist here was, instead of “Hello Kitty,” Smith made sure to print “Hello Kyse” on it, as a sweet gesture for the baby girl.

Well, this shows Devonta Smith and his girlfriend know how to create a beautiful setting for an occasion. Just like when the entire family celebrated the Christmas holidays in December last year. In those shared IG posts, all three looked dapper in black shimmering outfits with a golden aesthetic setting of a church’s chancel in the background. Sharing the same, Mya wrote, “Happy holidays from my family to yours (white heart emoji)” in the caption. This cute family picture tells how close Devonta Smith and his partner are with their little daughter, as the two awaited eagerly for the girl child last year.

Last year, Devonta Smith was feeling the challenges of gridiron, but he was equally excited to welcome his baby girl. On June 3 last year, Smith and his girlfriend, Mya Danielle, made their pregnancy announcement. Wearing white outfits with a white backdrop, the couple posed in front of the camera, showing off Mya’s big baby bump. Announcing the news on Instagram, the couple wrote: “To our unborn you were made with so much love. We’re so thankful God blessed us to be your parents. You have so much love for you already it’s indescribable. We know the journey will not be easy but it’ll be an amazing story to tell. Mommie and DaDa cannot wait to meet you. See you soon baby girl.”

This cute and emotional update filled the eyes of many NFL stars with happy tears, as many joined in to congratulate and wish the best to the couple. And then later in the next month, during an interview, Devonta Smith was asked about his preparation for fatherhood. To which, the emotional athlete, who was eagerly excited to see his then-unborn baby girl, Kyse, mentioned, “I wish we can just fast-forward to it. I’m excited for it. Just really looking forward to being a dad.”

This clearly shows how much Devonta Smith was waiting for her daughter to come to their lives and now, he feels like a blessed man with little Kyse’s arrival last year.
