“Your father is the only man, who wants to see you be better than him. Don’t ever forget that.” This was the quote that Dave Canales shared on Twitter a few months back. It depicts the Carolina Panthers head coach’s unconditional love and support for his 4 kids.  Dave and his wife Lizzy Canales are parents to 3 daughters and 1 son. Since the couple exchanged their vows, they have been beautifully embracing parenthood. Mrs. Canales and his 4 Kids are often seen during the game day, cheering him. Fans are equally interested in knowing about them.

Dave Canales and his writer wife seem to share a very healthy relationship with their kids. The NFL head coach and his wife often spend time with their children—Benjamin, Beatrice, Amaya, and Ashby. Two months ago, Canales’ bond with his son caught public attention when he shared insights about their relationship on Twitter. On July 29, 2024, the Seattle Seahawks assistant coach posted some lovely snaps with his son.

In the snaps, Canales, 43, was seen giving football training to his son, who, like his father, seems to share a passion for the sport. Through this post, the NFL dad of four highlighted the strong bond and chemistry between them by sharing quotes and silhouette images of the father and son. Along with several pictures, the Panthers’ head coach also included the phrase ‘Family And Keep Pounding’ with a hashtag.

In addition to this, on Father’s Day, Canales re-posted the  Carolina Panthers’ post featuring many of his team players with their kids. It is a testament to his unwavering love for his kids.

Additionally, the NFL couple’s bond with their kids went viral last year on Dave Canales’ 42nd birthday, on May 7, 2023. Canales visited Dunedin to celebrate his special day with his children. Taking to his official Twitter handle, Dave expressed gratitude to his fans for making his birthday special with their heartfelt wishes.

“Thanks for the Birthday Wishes! Got to get away today with the fam! Bucs fans…let’s get it!” He mentioned this in his post. Besides this, he also shared a glimpse of his wifey’s arm muscles, as they looked perfect in the picture. “my wife has better biceps than you!” he further added in his post.

However, this was not the first time when the Canales’ wife and kids were seen together.

Canales’ family sweet moments of bonding

When Dave served as the offensive coordinator for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, his wife Lizzy and their kids were his biggest supporters, cheering him on from the stands. Additionally, the 43-year-old NFL coach, his wife, and their children, aged 6 to 14, are often spotted dining at Red Rocks Café in South Charlotte. The family reportedly loves the ‘Dave Canales’ Caprese Pita,’ a dish named in his honor.

Allegedly, the Canales children take turns choosing the family activity every Friday evening. They rotate each week to decide what they’ll do, fostering close bonding and maintaining a strong, healthy relationship with each other.
