Dan Quinn, the HC of Washington Commanders believes in competing hard! As he is pushing the Commanders this NFL season to give their best, he has indeed redirected his approach post his Atlanta Falcons tenure. With good strategic management and a “positionless” mindset, he is pushing his team to focus better. And this is something that he has learned early in life, living with his siblings.
As Dan grew up as the youngest of the six Quinn children in Morristown, New Jersey, he knows best how to endure healthy competition. With his four brothers and one sister, he always has their strong backing in the good times and bad.

Born in New Jersey, Dan is the youngest child of Jim and Sue Quinn. They are parents to six children altogether besides Dan, i.e., four sons (Mike, Peter, Brian, and Tim) and one daughter (Maribeth). The entire family shares deep religious beliefs. Being practicing Catholics, they never fail to attend Mass every Sunday.
Talking about his early days, Dan reflects on the turbulence they used to cause together, “There was always a game or something happening in the backyard.” Tim Quinn, who is one of Dan’s elder brothers, also holds a respectable position in Morristown, working as a township administrator and a former chief of police.
And Tim is very appreciative of his brother’s talents. He adds, “Dan is a tireless worker who leads by example.” Tim further continues, “Not only is he a coach to these athletes, he is a mentor and teacher.” But while he supports the HC’s teams, he adds humorously that their family shows allegiance to the New York Giants.
The entire Quinn family joins Dan at Giants Stadium and MetLife Stadium, cheering him. His other siblings also share a close bond with him. And, while much information is not available regarding them, Dan Quinn has time and again referred to their influence in his life.

Dan and his siblings’ father, Jim Quinn, instilled a type of toughness in his children that has helped them navigate difficulties head-on. Even Dan, from a very young age, began to depict distinct abilities, excelling in various fields. At Morristown High School, he was the football team’s captain and even participated in the Peer Leadership Program.

Talking of it, Tim adds, “Dan was a natural from the beginning and showed leadership at all levels,” continuing, “He is a tireless worker that leads by example.”
Be it his tenure at the Seattle Seahawks “Legion of Boom” defense to making waves with the Commanders, his siblings are always there to celebrate his victories. And, this has indeed helped Dan to achieve to become the best version of himself across these years, striving for the best.
