A six-foot-four tight end from Las Vegas, Nevada, is already being compared to the likes of Travis Kelce. The Buffalo Bills drafted Dalton Kincaid in the first round of the 2023 NFL draft. The NFL world has taken notice of the boy from Nevada, thanks to his impressive performances and accolades. Together with QB Josh Allen, they can write a new dynasty for the Buffalo Bills. Every dynasty needs pillars; to be a pillar itself, you need a strong foundation. Number 86 received this from his parents.
The tight end was born to parents Vicki and Clarke Kincaid on 16th October 1999. His parents, who value privacy, unwaveringly support his choice to pursue sports. At first, the tight end showed an inclination toward the game of basketball winning the AAU championship as well, but eventually ended up playing football. The only constant in transitioning from a sphere to a prolate spheroid ball was the support of his parents.

The story of how the TE fell in love with the game of football is interesting, to say the least. Young Dalton loved to go outside and kill his time by jumping on a trampoline. His father converted the game of play into a contest by launching a football over the safety net. The bet was for Dalton to catch the ball and if he failed to do so 3 times in a row; he had to leave the trampoline. This is how his love for the trampoline transitioned into a love for the pigskin. This was the future TE’s first lesson in football.
He would learn the next lessons in football at the University of Utah and San Diego. The others may have had more content on the game, but they surely didn’t have that impact. He often expresses his love and gratitude towards his folks on IG. In a picture with his mother, he wrote, ” Happy Mother’s Day to the best mama out there and to my best friend❤️.” The post shows a young Kincaid with a big smile and missing teeth. The cuteness in the picture surely makes up for the TE’s missing teeth.
With his pillars of support intact, Dalton can focus on his game with no worries. He has to take his game up a notch if he wishes to back the people who compare him to Travis Kelce. Some even argue that he is already a top-ten TE in the league.

Is Dalton Kincaid a top ten Tight End?
He is being hailed as the next generation of great players after his record-breaking season with the Bills. In 2023, he broke the record for the most receptions by a tight end in a single season and most receptions in a rookie season with 73 receptions. After a good rookie season, expectations are higher than ever by the analysts, coaches, and teammates.
According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Kincaid is ranked as the eighth-best tight end in the NFL right now. The top three places at the podium shouldn’t be a surprise — Kansas City’s Travis Kelce is No. 1, followed by San Francisco’s George Kittle at No. 2, and Baltimore’s Mark Andrews at No. 3. That is surely an elite group to be with.
