Is Colby Parkinson's family the secret behind his success on the field? What do you think?

The Los Angeles Rams’ tight end Colby Parkinson is an absolute monster. The man is powerful and large, and he has exceptional talents for his size. While the man is super dominant on the field, Parkinson presents a different face at home.

Who are Colby Parkinson’s parents?

The TE was born to parents Michael and Kim on January 8, 1999. They were both wonderful parents since they understood their kid’s passion and helped him pursue it. They knew from the start how much help the man would require in his early years of professional life. Yet they never gave up on him, and we can see how successful he is at such an early age.

The TE has shown his affection for his family on several occasions. He is grateful to have such a family, since they are all so kind and supportive of him. The man is also married as he tied the knot with his love Melanie Parkinson in March 2023. They both have been living pretty happily with their kid Forrest.

He revealed this in an interview where he stated, “We stayed with my parents for a while, so I was able to see my parents be grandparents to my son, which is a huge blessing. It’s crazy, you know, driving around. I have so many memories of all these places and it’s cool to be able to come back.”

Have an interesting take?

There is little to no information on Kim’s professional life, however, it is presumed that she is a housewife. On the other side, his father, Michael, is Oaks Christian School’s chief operations officer. But what about Parkinson’s childhood?

Where did the TE grow up and start his career?

It is commonly known that Colby Parkinson was born in Simi Valley, California. The man not only lived there but also went to Oaks Christian School. This school was located in Westlake Village and was well known for its sports administration. During that time, the future NFL star used to play two sports: basketball and football.

He was good at both of them, but in college; he chose to focus on one. In 2015, the man opted to play college football for Stanford. He was exceptional on the field, and with effort and encouragement from his parents, he grew into the man he is now.

When we look at this season, Parkinson has been an incredible force to reckon with. He had 23 catches for 214 yards. All of this while maintaining an average of 9.3 is actually good play on his part. Although Colby Parkinson has yet to score a touchdown this season, everyone understands that his role is far more important for the Rams than a TD.
