The only son of Raquel Brooks and Christopher Brown Sr, the Packers’ RB was raised by his single mom. Born in Oceanside, California, he studied at the El Camino High School and was regarded as the 12th-best RB in the state.

Brooks often credits his mom for always having his back, whether it was during the initial days of his football or in academics.“She really instilled in me hard work and anything’s possible. No matter what trials you are going through, you can get through it,” he said while playing for the University of California.

When Brooks made these comments, it was confirmed how much his mom’s guidance matters to him. And why not? We can see her mentorship and encouragement for her son that shaped his resilience both on the field and off the field. Still, Brooks has yet to carve his path as one of the NFL’s emerging talents. Although Packers fans can see the determination he brought from his high school and college days.

As for Christopher Brown Sr., not much is known about Brooks’ dad since he likes to keep a low profile and stays out of the spotlight. To honor Mama Raquel’s support throughout his journey, Chris Brooks had something special to offer making his mom proud.
