Would Charles Omenihu be where he is today without the support of his parents, Sunday and Regina?

Hearts went warm and the goosebumps were easily felt when Charles Omenihu was selected in the 2019 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans. This was because of how the defensive end’s parents felt at that time, bringing tears of happiness to those who saw that emotional video.

Omenihu was born on 20 August 1997 to his dad Sunday and mom Regina Omenihu in Houston. Originally, his parents were from Nigeria, but the couple immigrated to Houston, where Charles was born. However, after a year of his birth, the family shifted to Garland, Texas. Although the couple’s profession isn’t known, what is evident is their immense love and support for their children.

Charles, the big brother of sister Augustina, and late brother Newton Ananti, is a family man, who once posted a video of celebrating his father’s birthday in October, 2019. Accompanying him and his father, mommy Regina can also be seen in the Instagram highlights video of the player’s official account. In that video, everyone sang a “Happy Birthday” song for dad, who appeared happy while cutting the cake.
