Hailing from Plano, Brandon Stephens is currently firming his grip with the Baltimore Ravens. Even though he is solidifying his position with the Ravens, he couldn’t have done it without his family. Speaking of family, Stephens’ NFL journey can’t be described without mentioning his parents, Tim Stephens and Charlotte Stephens.
Well, it seems like not much information is available on Tim and Charlotte‘s background. But what we do know is the happy couple was blessed with three children: Brandon, Deshaun, and Chelsea. Moreover, Tim and Charlotte were quite supportive of Stephens’ football career, and that is visible from his college days.
Well, Brandon has been a hard worker since his college days. And how do we know that? It was Tim who talked of Brandon’s busy schedule when he chose to play at Stanford in 2015, “He has a loaded AP schedule, and so this right here takes a load off of his back“. But that’s not where it ends, as the other parent played a bigger role in Stephens’ career.

On the 2nd day of the 2021 NFL draft, Charlotte asked Brandon about his thoughts on joining an NFL team. And it looks like the connection between the mother and her son was quite strong! Brandon shared his premonition to play for the Ravens, which matched Charlotte’s thoughts, too, as she brought a Ravens’ flag to her son. And that’s not all, as Mama Stephens’ support for her son grew with time.
Meet mom Charlotte, a true supporter of Brandon Stephens
In 2022, Stephens shared a blissful moment with his mom after a Ravens training session. Moreover, Charlotte’s love for his son was evident from Stephens’ caption to the blissful moment, “no one luvs you like your mother can…🤍“. With the support from his mother, how has his journey been with the Ravens? Although he played situationally in the first 2 seasons, he was thrust out of action due to injuries in 2023. But he made a monstrous comeback and ended up playing more snaps than any other Ravens’ defender in that season. The CB recorded 137 solo tackles, 52 assists, 0.5 sacks, and 2 interceptions for his 3 seasons with the Ravens.

Moreover, it looks like the CB has been impressive in his 2024 training sessions, too. As per reporter Jeff Zrebiec, during Tuesday’s practice session, Stephens made two very impressive defensive plays. He not only knocked away a deep pass that was intended for Devontez Walker, but also blocked the route of Zay Flowers while preventing a pass from Lamar Jackson. Although he has been quite impressive throughout, it looks like he is still in limbo of his contract extension with the Ravens.
Will the CB get his desired contract extension from his team, as the season is already knocking on the door?
