On Sunday, Brandon Allen will have a tremendous opportunity. The quarterback will lead the 49ers, and this will be a major test for him. People are saying that luck has given Allen this opportunity, and he must give his all. Everyone is thrilled to witness the new starting quarterback for the 49ers. It is assumed that the man would perform well during the game. But, why so?

Actually, football runs in Brandon Allen’s blood. Confused? Well, the answer to this is actually related to his parents. But who are they?

Who are Brandon Allen’s parents?

Brandon Allen was born on September 5, 1992, to Bobby Allen and Marcela Allen. The quarterback’s mother was a housewife, but his father was a living football legend. Bobby Allen was also a quarterback during his time, having played in high school and college. While the dad did not have a successful career as an NFL player, he always encouraged his children to pursue it.

Christian Allen, brother of Brandon Allen, once revealed, “He always told us, ‘Quarterback is the place you want to be — you want the ball in your hands’.” While Christian did not follow this statement, he did follow his passion for another sport. He played baseball in college but never pursued it professionally.

While the older brother selected a different sport, the younger ones chose to follow in their father’s footsteps. Brandon Allen and Austin Allen both became quarterbacks throughout their college careers. Their mother, Marcela, witnessed her younger sons’ hard work and how her husband shaped them.

She revealed in an interview, “Bobby knowing the (quarterback) position himself was very beneficial. He not only played all the sports with them, but taught them the fundamentals. He had them around the (Arkansas) practice field and they threw the ball all the time and talked about football and the schemes of the game.”

While these were the sports-related sons of the family, how about Brandon Allen’s sister? Did she have an interest in any game?

Did Daniela Allen participate in any sports?

With the same athletic genes, Daniela Allen is undoubtedly similar to her brothers. When Brandon Allen’s sister was asked if she played any sports, she nodded with a small laugh. She shared how her brothers would play in the backyard and she wanted to play with them all the time. Daniela enjoyed playing, even if it was a strong game of hockey or football.

Her reaction on being asked whether she plays any games was, “Oh yeah, (always sports). I didn’t even do cheerleading or dance or anything like that. It had to be basketball, softball, tennis, and football — I always wanted to be in the backyard with my brothers. I may have come inside crying a couple of times, but I always wanted to compete with them.”

All of this shows that the Allen family is truly sports phenetic. Now everyone knows how Brandon Allen is so passionate about the game. But for the time being, the quarterback will focus on improving his performance for Sunday Night Football. It’ll be interesting to see what Allen can do against the Packers.
