Braelon Allen was the youngest prospect in the 2024 NFL Draft class. But his strength and athletic abilities were much better. Hence, he was grabbed by the Jets as the 134th overall pick. Later, he signed a 4-year, $4.6 million contract with a $650k signing bonus. It was a dream come true for the athlete. But before using the money on himself, he did something special for a loved one. His mother, Kimberly Rowe.

In May this year, he took his mother to Holiday Automotive in his hometown of Fond du Lac. There, he gifted her a brand-new GMC Yukon. The mother got emotional, started crying, and hugged her son as they posed for photographs. Kimberly is a hospice worker and has worked endless days to give everything the children wanted.

In this journey, Braelon Allen’s father, Darvon Neal, has always cheered for him from the sidelines. A retired military personnel, Neal often went to the games to cheer for his son. In 2021, he posted a photo of his sons with the caption, “There’s nothing like raising men. Through all the failures and successes, I’m ALWAYS a proud dad!

Both parents worked hard in their lives. And the running back understood that. Braelon Allen used their absence as the extra time to practice. Countless workouts have transformed him into a physical specimen at such a young age. Sometimes, he just refused to walk out and had to be forcefully removed from the workouts.

A few more family members were also instrumental in giving a direction to his life.

He didn’t know then that one day he would be running in stadiums filled with thousands of people. The kid is Braelon Allen. His uncles gave him this impeccable work ethic.

When the RB sat down with us for an interview in April this year, he thanked his uncles and said, “They were like my superheroes growing up and the athletes of the family.” Allen later became a very good wrestler. In 2017, he even won the Wisconsin state wrestling championship. But something else was written about his destiny.
