Who are Blake Fisher’s parents?

Born on March 25, 2003, to mom Erica and dad Mark in Avon, Indiana, Blake Fisher is the second child of his parents. Besides him, the couple also shared a daughter, named Breonna, older than the athlete. However, unfortunately, at Fisher’s very young age of 7, his sister passed away due to a virus in 2011.

Speaking about that situation, Fisher expressed, “The virus attacked her heart. It just progressively got worse as she began to get older.” And since then after her death, Breonna inspired the Houston Texans player. And that’s why, once he said, “My fight, my why, is my sister,” revealing that the reason behind him working hard is his late older sibling. But besides Breonna, Fisher’s mom too has been one of the biggest inspirations in his life. How?

In an interview earlier, Blake Fisher highlighted, “I’m very proud of my mom. It was exciting to see her walk across the stage. I have to keep it going when it’s my turn. It’s great to be able to have that role model in the household.

Does Blake Fisher's story prove that family values are key in sports?

Have an interesting take?

This statement from the OT came in 2019 when his mother Erica graduated with a Master’s degree in Nursing. Seeing her nurse mom succeed in academics, Fisher disclosed an important ritual of his family – Education matters in the Fisher family. That’s the reason, he said, “Without academics, you’re not playing football.”

Even his father Mark has the same opinion, who quipped, “Academics continued to be, by far, the most No. 1 thing for him as far as a school was concerned.”

However, besides this, Mark and Erica have always supported their kid to succeed in his football journey.

How has Blake Fisher’s family played a pivotal role in his NFL career?

While speaking about his parents, Blake Fisher admitted that whatever dream he saw for himself, was the same in the eyes of his parents, Mark and Erica. As Fisher was good in academics and sports, he got 30 scholarship offers from schools. But the major concern here was choosing the right school for him. And there came his parents, who made sure every detail was considered. But what did they do?

Well, Blake Fisher’s father Mark, and mother Erica visited schools, talked to other parents, and ensured no stone was left unturned. During this process, Notre Dame felt special to them. The reason?
