Each year the NFL draft brings up a fresh batch of quality players for the league. This time too, the NFL draft evaluators from all 32 teams have prepared to visit schools.
During this period, the scouts and front-office executives travel to watch prospects, speak with coaches, and start forming their draft boards for the Class of 2024. But which college team has produced the highest prospects for the NFL draft this year?

Certain colleges have certified their reputation as major talent pipelines for the NFL, consistently providing the league with top players. As per reports, Michigan Wolverines have been considered as producing the most prospects of this year, with approx a total number of 17 players. Some key players are J.J. McCarthy, and Blake Corum. The second team likely to have the most prospects are the Ohio State Buckeyes, with 13 total draft picks. The teams are looking for 11 prospects this year from the Georgia Bulldogs, and eight from USC.
Besides this, as per the historical records, Notre Dame has an impressive 525 draft picks throughout its history. USC closely follows with 523 selections. Ohio State, known for its strong football game, boasts 485 draft picks, including an incredible 90 first-round selections, the most of any college program. Notably, Ohio State has consistently produced NFL talent, with at least one first-round pick every year since 2015. Oklahoma, with 414 draft picks, is particularly known for producing top quarterbacks.
So, NFL fans are now awaiting for this year’s first round pick. And the players are waiting for their dreams to finally unfold with the league.
Things you should know ahead of the 2024 NFL draft!
By the start of this year, over 90 players have said they want to join the 2024 NFL Draft. This draft will have seven rounds, and in total, 256 players will be chosen. The Panthers might not have the chance to pick in the first round this year because they traded their pick to the Bears last year to get Alabama QB Bryce Young.

The 2024 NFL Draft’s first round will happen in downtown Detroit, Michigan, on April 25th. The rest of the draft, from rounds 2 to 7, will occur over the following two days.

As per this year’s NFL Draft big board, the 2022 Heisman Trophy winner, USC’s Caleb Williams, is the top prospect. Behind him is WR Marvin Harrison Jr, QB Drake Maye, WR Malik Nabers, and others are there.
