Some pros come with being the son of Deion Sanders. Naturally, there will be cons too. The 23-year-old Shedeur Sanders is all ready to make his dream NFL debut. And you know the day he steps on the gridiron, people will leave no chance of passing judgments on the young QB. Because he is the son of Deion Sanders, he might have to take extra of everything, whether it’s criticism or some privilege. Shedeur has so far enjoyed the privilege of being Deion’s son. But now the time has come when he might have to face a few disadvantages of it. Honestly, he already experienced some during the NFL Combine earlier this month. An anonymous coach labeled Shedeur as ‘brash‘ and ‘arrogant.‘
Well, ESPN analyst Louis Riddick put it nicely: “It emerges from a dislike of Deion and that dislike is transferred down to his son.” The simple truth is that the Colorado QB is going to be in the NFL. And whether some people like it or not, he will be getting all the things NFL players get—the fame, the money, the name, the deals, the fandom. Now that we are speaking of fame and name, here is a look at Shedeur’s 2025 NIL valuation.

What is the value of Shedeur Sanders’ NIL money?
As per On3’s data, the Colorado Buffaloes QB’s 2025 NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) is estimated to be worth $6.5 million. That’s even more than his father Deion’s rookie contract with the Niners, which was $5.2 million for five years. Well, that was in 1989, and now it’s 2025. Shedeur Sanders is also one of the top prospects in this year’s draft. This offseason, there are high chances that either Shedeur or Miami’s Cam Ward will be among the first QBs to be drafted. A few teams without QBs, like the Browns, Giants, and Titans, could be potential landing spots.

Shedeur ranks No. 2 on both the NIL 100 and College Football NIL rankings, according to On3’s data. The young QB has 2.1 million followers on Instagram and 82K on X. So far, Shedeur has collaborated with Nike, Beats by Dre, 5430 Alliance, Google, Gatorade, and more.

Which brand has trust in Sander?
So, like we said, some privileges come with being Deion Sanders’ son. It’s not surprising that brands offer partnerships with emerging athletes; it’s a common marketing practice now. But since your dad is Deion, of course, there will be extra trust placed in you.
Last year in December, Shedeur Sanders signed an NIL deal with Nike, the amount of which is kept under wraps. His deal with the brand includes both apparel and footwear. The Colorado QB became the first-ever college player to sign with Nike. That’s the kind of advantage you get. Deion also had a partnership with Nike during his career. Shedeur also signed with The Gatorade Company.

At the age of 20, Shedeur also signed a deal with Mercedes-Benz. The company gifted him a 2022 EQB model for this deal, a car worth $55.5 K. In 2023, the QB was offered a partnership with Google. To put it simply, Shedeur already has multiple luxurious brand deals in his pocket even before his NFL debut. And these are only going to multiply once he makes it to the league. The QB, with his remarkable potential and the legacy of his father, Deion Sanders, is set for an incredibly lucrative and high-profile career, both on and off the gridiron.
