Rashee was a somewhat unknown talent when he was scooped up. Nobody expected him to have the instant success that he has had. In fact, his injury was something that the Chiefs had to address in order to reach where they are now. As such, his contract doesn’t include any other bonus clauses.

But the Chiefs didn’t trade him when he got injured. Rashee Rice’s performance has been good, and the Chiefs are showing faith in the youngster. He is still contracted with them, and we will see what they do after February 9.
