Just picture this: In the 2022 season, the Eagles were boundless. They recorded the most sacks in the regular season (70, to be precise). But when they faced the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl, they couldn’t touch QB Patrick Mahomes. And the guy who made it possible – Creed Humphrey. Not just that, he repeated this feat in 2023 as well, helping his team secure back-to-back Super Bowl victories (LVII and LVIII).

That’s just a trailer of his accolades. During college, Humphrey was named Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year and First-team All-Big 12 for 2019 and 2020. Chiefs drafted Humphrey 63rd overall in the 2021 NFL drafts, just next year after he completed college at Oklahoma. But you wanna know what is Creed Humphrey’s nationality and ethnicity?

Creed Humphrey, the Chiefs center, is American by nationality. As mentioned earlier, he was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma, on June 28, 1999, where he also went to school. Creed Humphrey and his family are members of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation. It’s a recognized group of indigenous peoples of America. Shocking fact- but Creed Humphrey’s ancestors must have come to the land of Oklahoma way earlier than other citizens, in terms of territorial perspective.

The way Creed is moving forward in the league is amazing. He was the 3rd in the offensive Rookie of the Year votes in the 2021 season. And hold on… according to the NFL’s official website, “Creed is the PFF’s highest-graded center since 2021.” What a proud thing for the Potawatomi Nation and the Potawatomi tribe. And who knows the 25-year-old Creed Humphrey may get compared to great centers like Jason Kelce. Let’s see if Humphrey makes it a reality.
