It’s been only four years since Cole Kmet started playing football in the NFL. But the former Notre Dame TE may not have ever dreamt of what the NFL had in store for him. Well, the Bears TE is going through yet another rough season where his team has lost 9 consecutive games. Now, that losing streak could either extend in week 17 or fail to match Kmet’s 2022 season.

That year, Chicago had a 10-game losing streak that may be broken by how things are moving in Windy City. Cole Kmet is also one of the victims behind the Bears’ horror of a season. But hey! Guess what? At least he has a contract that makes him good money no matter what happens on the gridiron.

What is Cole Kmet’s salary?

Once a second-rounder in 2020, Kmet has come a long way in his career. But still, he hasn’t really witnessed a lot of winning in the NFL. Instead, it has been the complete opposite, and the Bears TE is tired of finding positives. After the Bears lost their 9th game in a row last week, Kmet was like, “I’ve been through this now multiple times. You know, two years ago, it felt like you’re trying to find positive things. It’s hard for me to be real with myself and find positives when it’s a 34-17 loss.”

Now, all we can say is that the only positive for Kmet doesn’t lie on the gridiron. Instead, it’s his bank account after every season in Chicago. No matter what happens until 2027, Kmet will take home a guaranteed sum of $32.7M. But his average annual salary of $12.5M still remains questionable. However, you can’t question his contract right now. To point out his earnings, the Bears must start winning again. Otherwise, how can they possibly start thinking about extending their player’s current contract valuations?

What is Cole Kmet’s net worth?

Judging by his $50M deal with the Bears and partnership with United Airlines. Kmet’s net worth could be around $59M. Yes, the Bears TE isn’t just earning dollars from playing in the Windy City. He is also busy working alongside United Airlines to drive awareness for a good cause. His mission is to urge United’s customers to give up their unused airline miles for Special Olympics athletes. Sometimes, there isn’t anyone to fund their travels. So Kmet’s involvement will reduce their struggles and help them grow in their journey as an athlete.

Now, besides all that at the time of getting his rookie extension. Kmet was rewarded with a $8M signing bonus for what he did with the Bears in his first three seasons. After not scoring a TD in 2021, Kmet led the Bears’ offense from the front in the following season. His 7 TDs, 50 receptions, and 544 receiving yards were way ahead of everyone in his locker room. However, his average annual salary still remains a bit low, considering his production over the years.
