Pittsburgh Steelers are handling themselves well as a team, but they may be forced to take a hit during their game against the Chargers because of an injury that their WR endured. The official announcement from the team comes as regretful news for Van Jefferson fans.
Unfortunately, we don’t have much information on how and when Jefferson got injured. All we know so far is that he was taken to the side to get his eye checked. This seems peculiar, given that he was wearing his helmet. Something may have gotten past the helmet bars.
The official update in question comes from a team personnel on social media. “Steelers WR Van Jefferson has an eye injury and is questionable to return to today’s game,” tweeted the Senior Director of Communications for the Steelers.

If Jefferson remains out for the rest of the game, we might get to see some more action from Scotty Miller. He hadn’t done a lot for the team during his time on the field today. Sadly for him, there may not be more chances left for the rest of the game.
Well, to make things even, the Steelers weren’t the only ones whose athlete was injured. Their opponents joined them too.

The game in question isn’t just rough for the Steelers. On the contrary, Chargers must have the same amount of complaints from it. Van Jefferson became the highlight after getting injured earlier in the match.
However, if you accidentally overlooked, the LA Chargers also lost one of their players from the defense team, and it was a linebacker. The athlete in question was none other than Joey Bosa.
The footballer got injured trying to force the opponent QB into making a quick decision. An unwanted situation ensued and now Bosa is waiting on the sidelines. While trying to rush Justin Fields, Bosa got rolled over. Later on, he was spotted leaving the field. He was also limping at the time, which tells us that it may or may not be serious.

Either way, Joey Bosa may not be coming back to finish the game anytime soon. This injury is on par with that of Van Jefferson in the sense that both the stars are questionable to return for the rest of the day.
