Are knee injuries becoming the Achilles' heel for NFL running backs this season?

The NFL has finally arrived in Munich, and it appears that the incidence of injuries continues there as well, as everyone saw RB Miles Sanders go down in the brutal game between the Giants and Panthers. The incident occurred during a tackle, and RB received a hard hit to his leg. He was taken off the field, and it does not appear like he will return. But which injury did he suffer?

New information and claims regarding him and his injury are currently emerging. The medical staff determined that Miles Sanders’ knee got injured. And his chances of returning to the field are most likely slim. For the time being, all we can hope is that the man did not suffer a season-ending injury. This season, numerous running backs have been seen having knee problems such as Jonathan Brooks and Zach Moss. Due to this injury, the pressure is currently on Raheem Blackshear, who must perform exceptionally on the field.

This was awful news because there had been claims that he was unbeatable in practice. Although the RB has had a slow start to the season, he looked excellent tonight. Good catches and lengthy runs were easy for him, but it looks like he lacked luck.

The most heartwarming story regarding what transpired following the injury included Brian Burns. The linebacker and also Sanders’ former teammate stood with the Panthers players next to the cart until the 27-year-old was taken off. Talk about support!
