The Dallas Cowboys-Pittsburgh Steelers game gave America’s team a shock pretty early in the game. The Cowboys were already shorthanded on defense with Micah Parsons’ absence and looks like they have one more injury on their hands. This time, it’s Marshawn Kneeland, who went down early in the game and went for a diagnostic.
Sources suggest that the wet field is the reason for his injury. The Cowboys DE went down, and the medical staff came in to check on him. He was later taken to the blue tent to be diagnosed further. It looked like a non-contact injury and the Cowboys DE is now being carted off the field.
What happened to Marshawn Kneeland?

Per John Machota, the Dallas Cowboys reporter for The Athletic, “Cowboys rookie DE Marshawn Kneeland with an apparent right knee injury. He couldn’t put much pressure on his right leg as he was helped to the injury tent.” As it happens, the Cowboys DE is ruled out of the game. These are some other consequences of playing in bad weather, it seems.

It’s a sad day for the rookie, who recorded 5 solo tackles in the season so far. Of course, the extent of his injury is not clear yet. While the Dallas Cowboys have been facing some defensive problems with Micah Parsons (ankle), DeMarcus Lawrence (foot), KJ Henry and Caelen Carson (shoulder) they have also been dealing with some defensive problems.
What’s your perspective on:
Is the wet field to blame for Kneeland's injury, or should the Cowboys have been better prepared?

Dallas run stop has been suffering from the past few games and the same had been the case in the Steelers game. However, let’s talk about some injuries on the offensive side of the ball.

The Dallas Cowboys just keep losing players
Not long into the game, Tyler Guyton, the left tackle got injured and was sent to the sidelines. Guyton bumped into a Steelers defender and went down and was grabbing his knee. The rookie was replaced by Tyler Smith. He was questionable to return after the Steelers defender mangled him up. His replacement, Chuma Edoga is also on IR right now.
However, one of the most concerning injuries on the Dallas Cowboys offense is perhaps that of Brandin Cooks. He had a knee surgery done on him and it led to an internal infection around the same area. It required a clean-out surgery and unfortunately, he will be out for another month or so. Cooks caught the first touchdown of the Dallas Cowboys season against Browns.
