With a snow shower and 18°F, the Bills and Ravens game became a lot more physical than anticipated. And why not? Both teams were hungry for the win to move a step closer to ending their Super Bowl droughts, Ravens 12 and Bills 21 years long. Moreover, when you are already battling the snow, evading tackles from the Bills players wasn’t easy for the Ravens. And snap, something bad happened.

CB Marlon Humphrey saw it firsthand when the WR Mack Hollins tackled him. Taking a body blow from a 221-pound man in sub-zero temperatures leaves you shaking. The medical team rushed the team, trying to pump him up for the remaining game. It was the 4th quarter, and his team trailing with 27-19 scores. However, the blow was enormous, and he couldn’t cope. The medical team helped him get on his feet as he limped and walked into the blue medical tent. Fans’ dimming hopes hit a new rock bottom as their Pro Bowl player walked off the gridiron.

Before going off the field, Marlon Humphrey had 4 tackles (2 solo). He was a key ploy in the Ravens’ defense. In the regular season this year, the cornerback started in 16 games and finished with 6 interceptions (1 for TD), 0.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 4 QB hits, and 67 tackles (50 solo). That’s solid.

He looked pumped before the game started, warming up sleeveless. While the Ravens’ flock looked, he joked that his mother might get angry at him. However, as their campaign ended with a 27-25 loss, the Pro Bowler was disappointed as he could do nothing to save his team.

For Mack Hollins, he watched happily as the Bills successfully negated the Ravens threatening O-line. They won the game, securing a ticket to the Arrowhead.

It was a dramatic 4th quarter. The Bills started the final quarter with 21-19 scores. But kicker Tyler Bass scored 2 field goals, taking the score to 27-19. The 8-point difference proved too much as the Ravens scored a touchdown and tried to go for the 2-point conversion, which failed as TE Mark Andrews couldn’t hold on to Lamar Jackson’s pass.

With this win, Josh Allen successfully entered the AFC Championship game while Lamar Jackson‘s wait for the Super Bowl will continue. The Ravens’ 3 turnovers defined the tough game, enabling the Bills to take the lead. The home team didn’t fumble even once, showing their determination to win. The Chiefs would be ready!
