Can the Ravens' defense withstand Joe Burrow's speed without Kyle Hamilton on the field?

The Baltimore Ravens suffered a major blow. Their safety Kyle Hamilton suffered a non-contact injury during their win against the Bengals. This surely is a point to worry for the Ravens fans. They will face their AFC North leaders the Pittsburgh Steelers next week and Hamilton’s absence might end up being costly for them.

Hamilton awkwardly twisted his ankle while defending a pass from the Bengals QB during the second quarter with just 1:09 minutes left. As per NFL’s Cameron Wolfe, the young safety, at first, was taken to the blue medical tent but then limped off to the locker room. Later the team ruled him out for the rest of the game.

Although he exited the game early, the 23-year-old has already left his mark on this game with four tackles. During the half-time break, Hamilton was seen wearing a walking boot on the sideline.

Baltimore has already lost Geno Stone during the offseason. Now they are at risk of losing Hamilton for quite some time too. Although they still have talents in that position like Marcus Williams, losing out on Hamilton could be a huge blow for Baltimore.  This season the young safety has got 67 tackles, 2 sacks, 5 pass breakups, and zero interceptions.

This would be a relief for the Ravens flock who were surely concerned about the young safety. From what the coach said, he is expected to be ready to face Mike Tomlin’s boys next weekend. It now needs to be seen if he gets back to his 100% on time. In the week 11 clash at the Acrisure Stadium, they will play against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Or will there be a new twist to this story? Only time will tell.
