Indianapolis Colts ended up losing with a final score of 19-23 against the Houston Texans. In one of the latest moments of the game that saw the Colts progress in their drive, Taylor seemed to have picked up an injury threatening his game status. With multiple reports suggesting he remained questionable to return against the Texans, the Colts were left on their own to play the last quarter of the match. The apparent injury was to his heel as the RB limped to the locker room following the blow.

Jonathan Taylor has been an integral part of the offense this game, picking up over 150 rushing yards and 20+ receptions to his name. Before leaving the game, Taylor had 1 rushing TD to his name. Post his exit from the gridiron, things took a turn for the worse for the Indianapolis Colts. The Texans had a comfortable lead against the Colts and it nearly looked like the Colts could have had the game, but they weren’t able to assert their dominance.

The Colts weren’t able to convert a single 3 down in the game till the 4 quarter. That became one of the major reasons why they lost the game. They couldn’t do much even after Jonathan Taylor returned to the field after sustaining the horrible heel injury.

While the Colts lead the game in rushing yards, the Texans had a strong dominance in the area of passing yards. Thus, they were able to secure a victory for themselves. QB CJ Stroud also came to the field with plans of delivering nothing but accuracy and taking his team to the playoffs.

Stroud displayed nothing but poise throughout the season. He went for two touchdowns today and came out with a completion rate of 76.9%, making 20 out of his 26 passes. He passed the ball for 264 yards by the end of the 4 quarter. However, Stroud’s 75-yard TD pass to Nico Collins became the highlight of this game.
