Are the Cowboys cursed this season, or is it just a string of unfortunate events?

The Dallas Cowboys have got to be the unluckiest teams in the NFL this season. Prescott’s injury, abysmal quarterback play, and five losses in a row. What else could go wrong? Well, a week ago, the stadium had issues with managing the sunlight and just when they thought they could fix these problems, a huge piece of metal fell from the roof of the AT&T Stadium ahead of the Texans game. But there’s more because now, Jake Ferguson is in a rut.

The Cowboys’ tight end was injured in the first quarter took on a concussion. He was ruled out because of the concussion protocol. Adam Schefter took to X and noted that the “Cowboys now have ruled out Jake Ferguson,” and he’s been evaluated for a concussion.

Cowboys’ fans and the fantasy owners were literally fuming at what happened to Ferguson.

Another interesting thing is there’s no replay of the injury to be found on the internet. X users have erupted because their parlays didn’t hit. This is the second concussion of his career and the last one happened in December 2022. The TE recorded 11 yards over a reception before he was ruled out of the game. But this isn’t his first injury of the season.

Ferguson missed the week 2 game against the New Orleans Saints due to a MCL sprain and also had a bone bruise in the season opener against the Cleveland Browns. Unfortunately, he isn’t the only Cowboy injured injured in the game.

More problems arise after Jake Ferguson’s injury

The Cowboys safety Markquese Bell suffered a gruesome injury while trying to tackle Dameon Pierce, the Texans running back. It looked like he dislocated his shoulder and it looked absolutely brutal. He hit Pierce’s leg with his left arm and most probably dislocated his shoulder. A Cowboys trainer helped him off the field while holding his injured arm. He didn’t record any stats before exiting the game.

Safe to say that he will be the second Cowboy who won’t be returning to complete the MNF game at Jerry Land. While the Cowboys offense struggled abysmally in the first half, the defense was trying it’s best to compensate.

Some suggest that Bell might have torn multiple ligaments, and this might be a season ending injury for the safety. Regardless, the Cowboys have to win this game if they want to stay in the playoff hunt. It sounds impossible, though.
