Can the 49ers survive without George Kittle, or is their season doomed without their star TE?

The San Francisco 49ers suffered an upset loss against the Minnesota Vikings. After a dominating week 1 win against the Jets, the Niners Empire seemed to be on a conquest. However, a surprise was awaiting them. After the 3rd quarter, they were reeling at 20-7 before a rally in the last quarter took the scores to 23-17. The game had plenty of dramatic moments which included tight end, George Kittle.

In its 2nd week, one thing in the league has already become long. Injured players’ list! The 49ers were on the receiving end this time. The team updated that George Kittle suddenly felt cramps following which they immediately took him to the dressing room and gave him an IV. The TE returned to the gridiron before the end of the quarter. Before feeling cramped, the tight end was looking solid, as the TE led the Niners’ offense with 5 catches for 56 yards and the lone touchdown. However, even his timely comeback couldn’t save them from a humiliating loss. After losing today’s game, they will have to assess their defense. The Niners couldn’t allow themselves to be rusty again.

Both teams suffered casualties in the 3rd quarter, that too in the same play. The Vikes’ wide receiver Justin Jefferson injured his right quad during the game. The other player was George Kittle’s teammate, Nick Bosa. The defensive end got rolled up by a fellow teammate. For a brief moment, it seemed that he injured his left ankle. Later, he managed to walk to the sidelines by himself. While fans were worrying, he came back to the field in the 4th quarter. Yet, the Niners couldn’t secure a win.

After losing the game, Heach Coach Kyle Shanahan gave good news to the 49ers faithful, at least on the injury front. The coach said that no player suffered serious injury during the game. However, the fans need more. A win! Can they bounce back? Stay tuned, we will keep bringing the news.
