It’s the Houston Texans taking over the Miami Dolphins and here comes another injury setback for Foley Fatukasi. A huge blow came for the Texans as their star defensive tackle was ruled out for the remainder of the game against the Dolphins. That’s Right! As the Texans are clashing with the Miami team on Sunday Night Football, the news is coming that Fatukasi is not playing following an ankle injury.
Honestly, the Texans can’t afford to lose him again, and it’s a tough blow for their defense. And that too against the team whose defense is heating up throughout the season. The big man, who just returned after missing three games, left the field early and was initially listed as questionable to return before being ruled out entirely.
For the Texans team, who is battling to secure a playoff berth, losing their main DT definitely puts pressure on the remaining defensive line. The timing couldn’t be worse and given the tight playoff race, the Texans will now need depth to the big guys up front.

As can be seen, 9-5 seems pretty for the Texans. Well, there is no doubt that with this 20-12 win over the Dolphins, the Houston team is now one step closer to sealing their entry to the playoffs.
However, there is no doubt either that players like Mario Edwards and Tim Settle need to step up their game as there is no timeline for Fatukasi’s recovery. On the other hand, it’s the Dolphins who are struggling to swim.
Foley Fatukasi’s injury didn’t let the Dolphins out of the water
Man, what a heartbreaker for the Dolphins, right? A 20-12 loss to the Texans, and pretty much throws a wet blanket on their playoff hopes. It seems something is off with the Dolphins lately. I mean, of course, the last week’s triumph over the Jets was phenomenal, but they’re struggling to stay afloat in a sea of tough challenges.

Well, if you’re a Miami fan, it will hit you in the gut to hear that their playoff chances stand at just 5 percent. It was one of those games where nothing seemed to click for the Miami team. Tua Tagovailoa struggled throughout the game and when it seemed that their offense was impeccable, it just couldn’t get anything going today. As a result, the Dolphins could only muster 12 points and the Texans took advantage of their every misstep.
So what’s next for them now? Honestly, they need nothing less than a miracle to stay in contention for the playoffs. On the flip side, the Texans must be kinda feeling high with the win but in there, at some corner, their injury issues might be frustrating them as the postseason is just up ahead.
