Taylor Swift did it once again. At the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, she took home seven Moonmen, including the coveted Video of the Year for ‘Fortnight’ featuring Post Malone. With this, she created history and tied with Beyonce for the most MTV Awards overall, which is 30. What else, this is the third time the musician has won Video of the Year in a row- a fan-voted award. Swift and Post Malone also won the first televised award of the VMAs for best collaboration and the award was handed to them by fan-favorite Olympian Jordan Chiles. What else would Swift want?

Travis Kelce! There’s the answer. Though Swift’s night at the VMAs was nothing short of a touchdown, it wouldn’t be complete without her shout-out for the Chiefs TE.

“This video seems very sad when you watch it, but it actually was like the most fun video to make. Something that I’ll always remember is that when I would finish a take and I’d and I’d say cut and we’d be done with that take, I would always just hear like someone like, cheering and like, whoo, like from across from across the studio. That one person was my boyfriend, Travis!” Taylor Swift gushed.

This reminds us about how Kelce was always cheering and supporting the singer during her Eras Tour and Swift, in turn, would be there to watch the Chiefs play.

“Everything this man touches turns to happiness and fun and magic. So I want to thank him for adding that to our shoot.” The audience went wild with loud cheers as Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s relationship has anyway been in the spotlight for quite some time.

This public display of affection wasn’t out of character for the couple. Swift had previously changed lyrics in her song ‘Karma’ from “the guy on the screen” to “the guy on the Chiefs” during her Eras Tour, much to Kelce’s surprise as he watched from the audience alongside her father. So the only thing fans missed at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards was Travis Kelce’s presence.
