In a stunning move, he tucked the ball and sprinted down the right side, leaving the Giants’ defense flat-footed. During this play, the Giants were caught off guard, scrambling as Burrow dove into the end zone with defenders desperately chasing him. The run highlighted his speed, culminating in a 47-yard touchdown.

Hence, it marked the longest rushing touchdown of Burrow’s career and set a franchise record for a Bengals quarterback. It was indeed a big moment! However, after the game, at the press conference, Joe Burrow simply called it “one of his few good plays” of the night. Explaining his mindset at that time, the QB expressed, “I just saw an opening. It was man coverage, and I was able to squeak through there and find an end zone.”
Although it was just one of a few good plays for Joe Burrow, this touchdown helped the team take an early 7-0 lead in the game. Coach Zac Taylor was also pleased to see Burrow making precise decisions under pressure.

Head coach Zac Taylor couldn’t hide his admiration for Joe Burrow after the stunning 47-yard rushing touchdown — and why should he? After all, it wasn’t planned at all. Taylor mentioned that they had called two pass plays, but Burrow saw something different.

In addition to that, the coach pointed out that while the offense had its shaky moments, everyone pulled through when it mattered. From the defense getting crucial stops to special teams putting the team in great positions, it was a collective effort, and in the fourth quarter, they delivered.
