Ever since Travis Kelce invited Taylor Swift to watch him perform at the Arrowhead Stadium back in September, she overtook the football world. Now as the big game against the Eagles looms large and the venue being the Arrowhead, talks about the pop icon have picked up pace. Though many Kansas City Chiefs fans love the extra attention, one NFL analyst has had enough of it.
So far, Swift has attended three games of the Chiefs. Two at Arrowhead and one in New Jersey against the New York Jets. With Kelce showing up at her international tour, and the pair making a surprise appearance on SNL, it is tough to get away from the Kelce-Swift news. But this 5X Pro Bowler feels different.

Two former Philadelphia Eagles players were co-hosts on the show hosted by Mike Clark. Clark began a segment by saying, “I’m looking at Taylor Swift’s concert schedule. I don’t think she’s going to be able to be there”. This prompted the former WR Mike Quick to make an infamous comment. He said, “Oh you’re talking about Taylor Swift… we’re talking football”.
Former LB for the Eagles, Ike Reese, then quipped, “He’s a Swifty you know. He’s a Swifty”, referring to the host Clark. To which 64-year-old Quick responded, “Whatever that means”. This light moment banter before the game brought cheers from the Eagles’ fans.
But one thing is for sure, the Chiefs are undefeated when Swift is in attendance. And with this monumental game next, the Chiefs can’t take any chances. However, Swift won’t be present, so the Chiefs have to depend on their players on the field. Even though they have some of the best players, the fierce opposition is no different.
