Patrick Mahomes’ confidence might be one reason why the Chiefs could upset Lamar Jackson and the Ravens in the AFC title game. We often see the Chiefs locker room videos and Mahomes and Travis Kelce never fail to say the right words at the right time. Maybe this is the sort of confidence that made the QB and his team not feel inferior on the road game at all.

A reporter caught hold of Patrick Mahomes after the win and had some questions that she wanted to ask him. For a while, sports pundits and NFL broadcasters described the Chiefs and their QB as “underdogs” stepping into the M&T Bank Stadium. But the truth couldn’t have been further from that.
