Post that, during his latest appearance on the show, the Jets’ QB took a complete U-turn, stating he did not mean the comment in the context it had been taken. Now, a few hours ago, the former NFL punter came forth to mention how the slot for the Rodgers segment had been “done” on his show, creating chaos among the football fans. To clarify the matters, McAfee now posted a long note, expressing what he meant by the latest update regarding the QB’s show appearance.

Pat McAfee is done with Rodgers, but ‘temporarily’

Pat McAfee announced on Wednesday that the “Aaron Rodgers Tuesday” weekly segment was done for the season. The former NFL punter said, “The guy who stopped by yesterday caused quite a conversation. So ‘Aaron Rodgers Tuesday,’ season 4 is done. There are going to be a lot of people that are happy with that, myself included to be honest.” This caused a stir on social media so much so that McAfee again had to come back for clarification.

The host shared a long tweet saying, “A lot of you are talking very wild about me and our progrum.” He added, “Our fans know that ART ends shortly after Aaron’s team’s season ends.. that’s how it’s been. He’ll make random surprise welcomed pop ins during big events or offseason adventures but, it’s always been a season thing. I never said he’ll never be on the show again. I hope he chooses to still chat with us.

McAfee concluded by showing pride in his team, saying “I’m thankful for them… and we just want to talk sh*t about sports.” The host clarified that the New York Jets QB Rodgers’ Season 4 appearance has ended, but he will keep surprising them and fans on his show at times. These statements from McAfee came a day after Rodgers appeared on his show for the last time in the season to clear the controversial air.

Aaron Rodgers responded to the threat of Jimmy Kimmel’s legal action over Jeffrey Epstein-related comments on Wednesday. Kimmel on his show then vehemently denied any association, backing his stance from his tweet on not knowing Epstein. On the Pat McAfee show, Rodgers acknowledged the seriousness of the accusations but emphasized he never accused Kimmel directly, or at least intended to.

He clarified his perspective saying, “I was referring to the fact that if there is a list, which again hasn’t come out yet, this was just a deposition. I totally understand how serious allegations of pedo*****a would be. So for him to be upset about that, I get it. I’m not stupid enough. Even though you think I’m an idiot and you made a lot of comments about my intelligence, I’m not stupid enough to accuse you of that with absolutely zero evidence.

Rodgers further expressed relief, saying that he is “glad” that Kimmel is not on any list linked to Epstein, addressing how concerning the situation is overall. His comments did tone down the situation with Kimmel, easing out the recent tensions surrounding all of them post the discussion.
