Are the Vikings the real-life Peaky Blinders of the NFL with their undefeated streak?

Imagine you are on the sidelines watching an NFL game, cheering for your favorite team, and see some uninvited special guests walking on the gridiron. Well, that is what exactly happened at the Jets vs Vikings game. In a face-off full of unexpected twists, the Vikes knocked out the New York, and that wasn’t even the real jaw-dropper!

Let’s admit that we all didn’t see the Vikings defeating the Jets. And while maintaining a 5-0 streak, the team put their own spin on the celebration. That is when British drama met the NFL to spice things up! Vikings safety Harrison Smith and tackle Harrison Phillips dressed as Peaky Blinders to celebrate their win. And that’s not all!

Post-game, the Minnesota Vikings took to their X account to share the video of Smith and Phillips walking on the gridiron as the criminal gang members. The caption of the post read, “By Order of the Peaky Blinders.

While the team was in London, wasn’t it the best time to celebrate in the Peaky Blinder style? Phillips took to his Instagram account to pay tribute to the classic drama and wrote Tommy Shelby’s most iconic dialogue as the caption. He posted, “Not a traitor to my class, just an extreme example of what a working man can achieve”- Tommy Shelby. 5-0.” Obviously, there couldn’t be a better quote to describe the win!

With the Vikings’ exciting 23-17 win against the Jets, the game just came in a British drama style. Keeping their undefeated season alive, the Vikes jumped to a commanding 17-point lead in the first half itself. And that’s not all!

Despite the Jets walking the extra mile to close the gap, they couldn’t even go near the score. The team kicked things off with a field goal and a defensive touchdown, putting them ahead 10-0 early on. Well, that was just the beginning and stay seated for the climax!

While Rodgers strained every nerve to improve the offense, he threw a total of three interceptions, which proved costly for the Jets. However, the team managed to rally back in the second half. And narrowing the score to 20-17, thanks to a touchdown pass from Rodgers to Garrett Wilson.

However, Minnesota’s defense held strong when it mattered most. In the final moments, with the Jets pushing for a game-winning drive, Gilmore intercepted Rodgers’ pass intended for Mike Williams, sealing the victory for Minnesota.

As they head into their bye week, the Vikings are flying high. While the Vikings are playing their every game in the Tommy Shelby style, will the Peaky Blinders be able to win Super Bowl LIX?
