Vikings’ Najee Thompson Brings in the Christmas Spirit Early With a Surprising Outfit

The Grinch stole the show back in 1966 first, when Dr Seuss’ animated film ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’ hit the theaters. 57 years later, in 2023, the NFL has another Grinch stealing its pre-Christmas week. He’s Vikings‘ NaJee Thompson, the Grinch in disguise.

Ahead of their week 15 game vs the Bengals, the Vikings CB appeared with the unexpected look at Paycor Stadium. The team is on par with their opponents, and both sides are looking for a playoff spot with a win. But Thompson’s dressing humor has set a healthy mood in Cincinnati ahead of the tense match-up.

While the rest of the team entered the stadium with serious faces and in their regular athleisure, the cornerback was covered in a neon pajama that resembled the famous character from Dr. Seuss’ book. He even shared a laugh with an onlooker when the camera spotted them. Christmas celebrations seem to have started early from Thompson.

The match will start at 1 PM ET on Saturday, December 16.
