Here are the 4 things Tua Tagovailoa can’t live without, and it’s not the GQ edition. It is the Thanksgiving edition instead! The Miami QB1 came to the presser after winning 20-13 against the newly reformed Las Vegas Raiders. He answered a lot of questions about the game and the very first question he was asked gave abundant insight to Tagovailoa as a human being.

Maybe it’s his culture and his upbringing that makes him a very humble man and a cool-minded QB. The father of one appreciates his family the most and he lets it known in the presser.

Tua Tagovailoa met with the media after practice. The conversation started with a laugh as the post-practice conversation turned into a banter about a reporter who was present in the room. The same reporter asks him about what he is thankful for considering the last 12 months of his life. Tua Tagovailoa didn’t hesitate and knew exactly how to answer the question at hand. He shared the four most important things – family, life, teammates, and living the dream he saw as a kid.

“I’m thankful for everyone in my life, I’m thankful for the life that I have, the life that I’m able to live. I’m grateful that I get to live this life, very fortunate to be living the dream that I’ve had ever since I was a little” said Tagovailoa with sincerity.

Considering that this is the list for the last 12 months, it was approximately the same time Tua Tagovailoa’s son was born. He is thankful for that, even though he doesn’t say it because he keeps his family life quiet and keeps hush about it. He married his wife Annah sometime back in 2022 and has a baby boy named Ace.

However, his professional life holds as much weight as his personal life, and as he mentioned, he is also thankful for the people around him. This was visible when the question popped up about the team’s cornerbacks. The Dolphins’ quarterback shared that he is aware of where everyone is on the field. When it comes to matchups, he said, “I am always gonna take our guys regardless of who is covering them.” Well, the Fins’ camaraderie has been visible in the squad’s thrilling performance.

The Dolphins are having an amazing season

It is true! They hold the 7-3 record and are leading the AFC East currently, with the Buffalo Bills just behind them. The addition of Mike McDaniel as the HC did numbers for the Miami Dolphins, elevating them to one of the fastest offenses in the league. Talking about offense, it would be unfair to leave the Tagovailoa-Tyreek Hill combo out of the conversation. Tyreek Hill leads the league as a WR with the most touchdowns this season and is gunning to cross 2,000 yards by the end of this season.

All this couldn’t have been possible without Tua Tagovailoa and deep down, he might also be aware of it. Maybe he does not want to jinx his professional career by appearing too confident. The Dolphins are playing the New York Jets as their next opponents. The next game seems like an easy win for them. The action-filled NFL Thanksgiving Week has a lot of stories yet to be told.
