Fans in Cincinnati will be eagerly awaiting the live edition of the “New Heights” podcast on April 11. Travis and Jason Kelce will have Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow as a guest for the live show from Nippert Stadium. But the return of the Kelce Brothers to their alma mater could be dampened, literally, due to the weather forecast in the ‘Queen City.’
The weather isn’t looking promising for April 11 in Cincinnati. Cloudy conditions with occasional rain showers and a 70% chance of rain are in the forecast for Thursday during the day. Winds between 10 to 15 mph are also expected. Things don’t get better at night as well.
Cloudy weather with showers and a 60% chance of rain means the live podcast plan of the Kelce brothers could be in jeopardy.

The weather in Cincinnati has got everyone in its grip since last week. On April 2, the threat of severe weather led to early school shutdowns and canceled events. Even the mighty University of Cincinnati’s baseball game against Xavier University got pushed back—talk about a curveball!
This was after the National Weather Service warned of storms, high winds, large hail, and even the dreaded tornadoes. Flights in and out of Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport are facing delays, but so far, no cancellations.

A few days ago Joe Burrow, who has been the Bengals starting quarterback since being selected No. 1 overall in the 2020 NFL Draft, will join the Kelce brothers for ‘New Heights Live’ from the Nippert Stadium. If you recall, in the last two seasons the Chiefs and Bengals met in the AFC Championship Game with Travis Kelce and Burrow going head to head.
With the announcement and the hype around their podcast, the NFL brother duo would have hoped to break the record for live attendance for a podcast taping.
The current record was set at just under 21,000 by Canadian comedian Mike Ward in July 2022, at the Bell Centre, Montreal when he held his Mike Ward Sous Écoute podcast. Nippert Stadium has a capacity of 38,088 but could hold more due to seating on the turf for a live podcast. However, the current weather forecast casts doubt over whether the show will be held as scheduled, let alone if it will make history.
