There are all sorts of trouble brewing just 4 weeks into the season. Some players are injured, others are being benched, and some are just unhappy with the circumstances and want to move on. One of those players is Davante Adams, who requested a trade from the Raiders. But that’s old news now because soon Tyreek Hill might be in the market for a new team.
Hill was fuming on the sidelines during the home game against the Tennessee Titans. His team was getting cooked by Mason Rudolph, after all. The 31-12 defeat was inconceivable to many. But there was a more pressing issue at hand, and that was the issue of Hill not getting the number of reps he was supposed to. It’s clear now: Tyreek needs Tua. But the Cheetah might be willing to look the other way if Tua doesn’t come back.
Tyreek Hill’s cryptic conversation with the media

Hill was suspiciously nonchalant in front of the media when they asked him about his potential trade to the Kansas City Chiefs. He still doesn’t want to leave the “beautiful team” and “great weather” down in Miami. But if circumstances force his hand, he might look at other options. Back to KC? Well, that might be hard to pull off but check what Hill said to the media about the rumors.

“I’m just focused on right here and right now,” Hill admitted and went on to say that “we got a great situation here and my family loves it” and praised the fans too. But this “beautiful situation” that the Cheetah has going on might just slip by his hands like sand if the situation calls for it. Tyreek Hill knows that because his parents certainly prepared him for it.

“My parents always taught me, control the controllables and I only can control so much. With that being said, we all know NFL is a business whatever happens, happens. Moving forward, I would love to be here. I love being here. You know I love the guys,” Hill said in an X post from FinXtra.
Looking at the video, it’s clear that the Miami speedster is cooking something, and he doesn’t want to confirm or deny anything. But it doesn’t negate the fact that Hill might just be simply trolling the media considering Davante Adams is up for a trade. He has to carve out the best possible scenario for himself keeping that in mind.
However, as seen in the video, the Cheetah insists that he wants to stay and play for Miami and he has his reasons. He said something back in June that just tells us why he likes playing with Tua Tagovailoa so much, more than Patrick Mahomes.
Reasons why Tyreek Hill might want to move on
If we’re being real here: there’s no real timeline on Tua Tagovailoa’s injury. Some even want him to retire. He has to consult a whole school of doctors before they let him set foot on the gridiron. But Hill and his team are paying the price of Tagovailoa’s uncertain comeback. But Hill would still like to stick with Miami and give Tua a chance because in his words, Tagovailoa is more accurate than Patrick Mahomes, or at least that’s what the Super Bowl winning speedster thinks.
Hill compared the Miami quarterback to his former teammate Patrick Mahomes on his ‘It Needed To Be Said‘ and said, “Obviously, like I’m gonna go with 15 as the strongest arm but as far as accuracy-wise, I’m going with Tua all day.” ESPN’s analysis suggests Tua was the most passer on attempts of at least 25 yards as he landed 50% of his passes at the right spot. That’s the data from the last season.

Another stats that corroborates Hill’s stance is the fact that per EPSN: “Tagovailoa did own a completion percentage over expectation of +0.9%, compared to Mahomes’ -2.1%.” So it makes sense for Hill to go on a tirade after an embarrassing game against the Titans. It was an eyesore to watch without. Just 4 receptions over 23 yards? You’ve got to be joking.
But this is not Hill’s fault, or Tagovailoa’s. In fact, this might not be Tyler Huntley’s fault either. The guy has been shoved into the frontlines after just 2 weeks of training. Also, we can’t tell the future by watching a single game. It’s true that many teams like Commanders, Jets, Kansas City are looking for topflight receivers. However, that doesn’t mean they align with Hill’s strategies.
Sometime ago, Tyreek Hill was asked for his top 5 QB list. Ja’Marr Chase outright declined to utter the name “Patrick Mahomes” and backed up his QB, Joe Burrow. Tyreek Hill did the same, but in a different way. He still backed up his receiver, though.

“A lot of people like they may give me a hard time and say, ‘oh Patrick is one of a kind.’ Yes, he is. Patrick Mahomes is one of a kind. He’s one of those guys that can roll to the left and throw back to his right, cross his body and do all that special stuff. He’s one of a kind, you’re right. But I’m saying as far as a quarterback aspect wise or like what you think about like a prototypical quarterback, Tua is that guy,” Hill said. Still think Hill will go back to the Kansas City Chiefs?
If you’ve watched the video, let us know what you think about the trade rumors. As for Tua Tagovailoa, this is his third concussion in the last two years and the QB might want to take it easy for some time. Even though there’s a certain pressure on him to perform after scoring a generational contract
