Earlier, in January 2024, his mansion of 9,326 square feet of living space also caught the attention when a fire swept through his house. Reportedly, the fire was unintentional. Accidentally, a fire ripped into his house while children were playing with a lighter. Allegedly, the fire caused projected damage of $2.3 million to Hill’s house. Fortunately, no one was hurt in the incident.

However, the reason for selling the extravagant residence remained unknown. But, interestingly, this news came amid Miami’s most recent stand on trading Tyreek, 30.

Despite a 2-4 start and the NFL’s worst offense in terms of points per game, the Miami Dolphins have no plans to trade Tyreek Hill this season.  Recently, the NFL reporter shut down many speculations over the Dolphins WR trade.

During the Scoop City podcast, NFL insider, Dianna Russini claimed that the Dolphins are “not going” to trade their WR  before the end of the season. Previously, in August, Hill signed the $90 million, 3-year contract deal with Miami.

According to this contract, the veteran receiver will serve for the Dolphins through the 2026 season. Seemingly, he’s been dominant when starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has been under center due to a concussion.

The Dolphins are just 1-3 with Tagovailoa’s absence in 4 games. They only triumphed against the Patriots. Seemingly, the Dolphins WR has struggled due to Tagovailoa’s sidelining. He could only make one catch in the Dolphins’ Week 7 loss to the Colts. Apparently,  Miami wants to keep their talented WR on the roster this season.
