The Harlem Globetrotters might soon have a new team member in their arsenal! The Miami Dolphins’ receiver Tyreek Hill was caught having some fun with the exhibitionist basketball team. The NFL and the Globetrotters have a relationship that goes way back and has associations with players like Johnny Manziel, Russell Wilson, and now the Cheetah.

Even Hill’s wife was surprised when she saw her husband training with the team. The Cheetah just posted some pictures and videos on his Instagram, showing what went down in his practice session with the Harlem basketball team. It might be safe to say that the Cheetah is invited to be inducted into the Globetrotters!

Tyreek Hill shows off his dunking skills!

Through his social media upload, WR Tyreek Hill showed a clear indication of sports skills extending far beyond the gridiron. The receiver’s explosiveness on the NFL field is enough proof that Hill can muster up enough vertical to outdo anyone trying to challenge him in the sports arena. His recent IG post was captioned, “Had fun shooting with the @harlemglobetrotters today ✌🏿 catch me on tour at a city near you 👀.”

The first video in the carousel of photos shows Hill getting a trick pass from Globetrotters’ guard Jet Rivers as Hill goes in for a dunk. The dunk needed a bit of polishing in professional essence but with practice, the 8x Pro Bowler can get there in no time. The next video shows Hill dunking the ball flawlessly and according to some reports, Hill in the past has shown a crazy 40.5-inch vertical.

Being impressed with his skills, the official Instagram page of the Harlem team posted on their account, “Surprise 👀👀 @cheetah can officially become a Harlem Globetrotter.” This invitation to join the side seemed apt with the astonishing talent of the receiver on the Basketball court. Showing their eagerness further, the Globetrotters gave Hill the attention he deserved on the court as they later commented under his post, ““cheetah” the globetrotter.”

The videos uploaded by Hill got the attention of his wife Keeta Vaccaro, who didn’t shy away from showing her support as she commented “Sheeshhh 😍.” Keeta recently announced her pregnancy a couple of weeks ago on Instagram as she shared an ultrasonic picture of her womb, and captioned it with a heart emoji.

Amidst the scenes of personal join and athletic growth, eyes shift to how Tyreek Hill isn’t the only NFL star that the basketball team has been involved with to gain the attention of the audience.

The long-standing camaraderie of the NFL and the Harlem Globetrotters!

Throughout the years, “The Globetrotters have always chosen to draft players that are exciting and can captivate fans,” and perhaps that’s why the team drafted Johnny Manziel on their team in 2014. Manziel played in the league for a very short term, though the Globetrotters might have had no problems keeping him on the roster and even dubbed him “Johnny Basketball.”

In 2020, the basketball team hired another NFL entertainer in the form of Russell Wilson. The Steelers QB was drafted in the 14 annual player draft held by the Globetrotters. Wilson played football, baseball, and basketball, the holy trio of American sports at the collegiate level, making him the perfect candidate for the opportunity.

Now the team is headed to Tyreek Hill’s home state of Georgia and will be there from July 5-7. The fans are eagerly waiting for the summer skills showcase and everyone’s hoping to see Hill put on a show about a month from now.
