Tyreek Hill is at it again! A lot of speculation is spinning around whether the Miami Dolphins WR will stay with his team or move to greener pastures. Fans are going with theories on where the star is best suited to shine. The analysts and insiders dropping hints about this aren’t making things easier for everyone either. All the while, Tyreek is having the time of his life addressing them on social media with his hilarious takes.
Tyreek Hill just posted a TikTok video with a floating caption, “seeing your team may actually trade you,” showing him talking on the phone. He says, “Hold that thought, I’m going to call you back”, and takes a look at his phone, presumably at all the rumors swimming in his social media feeds. His expression changes, becoming serious, and he says, “Oh Lord,” scratching his head and looking fearfully to the left.
The TikTok video is further reposted on X by David Furones, a sports reporter for the South Florida Sun Sentinel covering the Miami Dolphins. This video is another addition to a series of his witty responses to trade rumors that are plaguing the Miami star. Is this true, though? Or is this just another jab by Tyreek at the community’s continuous speculations?

All of these rumors started running wild this offseason after Tyreek’s disappointing 2024 season run with the Miami Dolphins. Towards the end of the season, he even admitted in an interview, “I’m out. It was great playing here, but at the end of the day, I gotta do what’s best for my career, because I’m too much of a competitor to be just out there.” Although he later cleared this up as a moment of frustration and that he will talk about the ‘situation’ with the Dolphins’ front office. But the fire of speculations had already started, and they aren’t going to die down anytime soon.
Tyreek is, quite simply, the talk of the town. In an X post uploaded by David Fischer, he posed a question, “Fins nation: Would you be open to trading Tyreek Hill?“. Tyreek reposted the tweet with a peace sign emoji, and didn’t utter a single word. Joel Moran, NFL analyst and host of the Pick a Side podcast, speculated that the Miami star could be the perfect 1st or 2nd round pick for the Washington Commanders. You think that’s it? Oh, we’re barely getting started here, folks.

So, which way is Tyreek Hill swimming? Seattle, NY, LA….the list is long!
Earlier there were rumors circulating that the Dolphins and the Seattle Seahawks had started preliminary trade talks. The trade would involve Tyreek Hill (obviously) as a 1st round pick. In return, the Dolphins would get River Cracraft. As per another Bleacher Report post, the New York Jets were also in serious trade talks to acquire Hill, as per EPN senior NFL insider Adam Schefter. Interestingly enough, Schefter reportedly hinted the Dolphins were trading their star WR to the Las Vegas Raiders. As per a post in January by ML Football, the Los Angeles Chargers were the favorites to trade for Hill. Just how deep can this iceberg go before the April 24 NFL draft is finally underway?
As per another post by Bengalscentre, Bleacher Report had shared, “The Bengals want to get to contention in a hurry, and partnering Hill with Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase and Chase Brown might give them the most explosive offense in the league”. This was, of course, before Tee Higgins got his massive contract extension with the Cincinnati Bengals. Just scroll down any social media feed right now. You will find mention of Tyreek Hill trade prospects across all of them. The Baltimore Ravens are also apparently eyeing the Dolphins’ star as a powerhouse addition to Lamar Jackson. If this comes to pass, it will solidify their run for the Super Bowl this coming season. But will Tyreek Hill step away from his team?

In an older interview, Tyreek had told the media, “I’m just focused on right here and right now. We’ve got a beautiful team here, and I want to be a part of it. We’ve got a great situation here… Moving forward, I would love to be here. I love being here.” Does Tyreek still feel the same way about his team? His antics on social media, trolling all the speculations, surely make us think that’s true. But which way will the Dolphin swim when April 24 comes around? Guess we can only wait and see.
