Tyreek Hill's 'we'll be fine'—is he too relaxed about the Dolphins' embarrassing loss?

Miami Dolphins season has not started on the note they would have liked. In the week 3 game against the Seahawks, they were decimated. At the finish, the scoreline read 24-3. With this, the Phins have now lost 2 and won 1 game. The Seahawks have won all three till now. One player of the Phins has reacted to the situation. We’re talking about Tyreek Hill.

Dolfans aren’t happy with the way things are playing out. They are losing players to injury one after another. However, the WR tried to cheer up fans and tweeted a four-word message after the loss that read, “Just a little adversity.” The message doesn’t reflect only the team’s problems. He is struggling in his game too.

In week 2 and 3 games of 2024, Cheetah has only 24 & 40 yards. The last time he had 40 yards or fewer was in week 2 in the 2023 season. Tyreek Hill’s only noteworthy performance came in the season opener against the Jaguars when he caught 7 catches for 130 yards and scored a touchdown. But now, he has to take responsibility.

Head Coach Mike McDaniel also wants him to be more involved in the game. He knows that the WR is the key member of their offense. During the post-game conference, the coach said, “As a captain and a leader, Tyreek did a great job all week trying to make sure that he was doing his part, not only the pass game but the run game. He was prepared, he was ready, he had the appropriate energy.

The season is slowly gaining traction. Hill has to go all-in if the Dolphins want to reach playoffs. And he is ready.

The WR might have been struggling with his form and so does the team. But that doesn’t stop from being a teammate. He took to X and posted, “W or L I still love this team.” The locker room love is there. It showed 2 weeks back when the receiver got into a legal trouble with Miami Dade County Police. With Tyreek Hill ready to give his 100%, the Phins can easily sort out one more thing, their quarterback department.

The real struggle started in week 2 game against Buffalo Bills. Tua Tagovailoa suffered a concussion, his 3rd in 24 months. Whole world came crashing down for the Phins. After all, their planning for the entire season relied heavily on the quarterback. After putting him on Injured Reserve (IR) list, they decided to go ahead with backup QB Skylar Thompson. Today was his first game for Dolphins. And he also got injured. He’s out because of a chest injury.

With clouds of doubt over their starting QB, Tyreek Hill has to step up and become the leader of O-line. It’s crunch time.
