The Buffalo Bills’ rivalry with the New York Jets has kept fans on the edge of their seats. Just a week ago, the Bills’ offensive tackle Dion Dawkins lashed out against Aaron Rodgers’ teammate and defensive end, Micheal Clemons. After this, many speculated that the rivalry between these two teams will be intriguing to watch in 2024.

Tyreek Hill blames Micheal Clemons for instigating the post-game scuffle

From the interview that happened last week on VladTV, JPAFootball dropped a clip featuring Dion Dawkins, where he could be heard verbally sniping out at the Jets DE Micheal Clemons. He said, “Weirdos being weird….Micheal Clemons is b***h boy. I’m going to keep it a buck, I hate all of them.”

But the banter didn’t stop here. Just a day ago, Tyreek Hill jumped into the banter, brutally trolling Clemons, by tweeting on his official X account: “Everybody googling who tf is Micheal Clemons” with a confused emoji.

If you’re wondering why Dawkins has such hatred towards Clemons and the Jets, here’s the answer. The Bills player accused Clemons of “instigating their postgame scuffle in the tunnel at Highmark Stadium on November 19 after the Bills’ 32-6 victory.” Dawkins clearly expressed his hatred towards the Jets. He declared, “I hate them, all of them, bro. … When it comes to sports, there are people that play the sport because they love the sport.

Dawkins added, “And then there’s people that play the sport just to try to be cool. I feel like they play the sport to try to be cool. Those are a bunch of dudes who just want to take pictures on Instagram. That’s whack.”

On the brighter side, the 29-year-old offensive tackle did mention the one person he finds valid.

In the same interview, Dion Dawkins revealed that he likes Jets defensive tackle Quinnen Williams, calling him a “valid” person. He said, “I like him.” He also named a couple of players including Corey Davis, informing that he respects them. But, “the rest of them, don’t care, don’t like them.” Dawkins’ hatred for Micheal Clemons also stemmed from the Jets DE’s alleged trash-talking towards the Bills quarterback Josh Allen “during a TV timeout early in the fourth quarter.” Dawkins expressed his anger and warned him not to engage with his quarterback.

Furthermore, in the ensuing play of November 19, Dawkins and Clemons clashed on the field, with Dawkins delivering a forceful hit. The altercation resulted in a penalty for Dawkins with a subsequent fine. Therefore, he warned him by saying, “Remember what you said, son.” Apart from that, Clemons, on the other hand, hasn’t said a word about Dawkins’ remarks & warnings.
