As if his already piling up a list of awards weren’t enough, Mahomes received some heartwarming comments from his teammate. When the Paper Route asked the now pop and NFL world sensation Travis Kelce about his two cents on Mahomes eclipsing Brady, the TE seized the opportunity to present his appreciation towards the QB. “Obviously, I’ve got all the respect for Tom Brady, he’s the GOAT.” said Kelce. “But I think right now I think that the rate that Pat is at, I think that it’s a little bit more all on Pat than it was on Brady. And it’s just gonna keep evolving.”
Having played more than 6 seasons with Mahomes, Kelce has left the mystery of future Super Bowls won by Mahomes on time. But the tight end is expecting him to win one this year. With the QB having achieved so much within the short span of his career, most importantly winning the hearts of fans around the world, these words stand as deserving for one of the best QBs in the league.

While the league is just 7 weeks in, Mahomes has already crossed the mark of 2017 yards, with 15 TDs and only 6 interceptions, post-Broncos clash. With the pace that Mahomes is at, the ‘Grim Reaper’ is surely expected to win more rings on his way. Although the year and season for that, as rightly put y Kelce, time will tell.
