Teams that were 14 points down by the last 3 minutes have lost 767 consecutive games, but that changed tonight. The Dolphins lost a game that they were practically going to win. The Miami Dolphins were beaten 28-27 by the Tennessee Titans and were embarrassed in front of Dan Marino. Many believe that Tea Tagovailoa might be the reason why the Dolphins lost the game. Unc and Ocho sure think so.

The Titans were down by 14 points in the last 3 minutes of the game and still managed to pull it off and rocked the stadium. This came as the Dolphins’ first home loss of the season and by the end of the game, Tagovailoa looked like a kid whose candy was taken away from him.

Here’s a live conversation going on what went down in the Titans vs. Dolphins game. “Tua played terrible the last 2 drives, said Unc at one point and then pointed out how he threw the ball 7 yards behind the line of scrimmage. The Hall of Famer pointed out how the Dolphins QB should have gone for a first down, instead of making a reckless mistake. Shannon Sharpe pointed out as to how the QB’s actions were counterproductive, considering how the clock was winding down and Tua Tagovailoa chose to throw the ball behind the line of scrimmage.

Ocho then pointed out how the Dolphins were debilitated when Tyreek Hill left the game. The Dolphins QB was left weaponless in the last moments of the game. The Miami team had a final chance, but their QB was sacked on fourth and 2 in the final quarter. It’s worth noting that Tagovailoa completed 23 out of his 33 passes and Tyreek Hill was missing for most of this game. Despite Jaylen Waddle and Xavien Howard returning to the game, the Fins couldn’t do much to win this MNF game.

The Titans indeed kept Tua and Dolphin’s offense in check, even though a critical mistake in the fourth quarter gave Dolphins a short field. Then came in Derrick Henry’s 3-yard rush and this extra point secured the Titans a one-point lead. What a thriller!

For the first time in six years, the Titans were able to win a game at the Hard Rock Stadium. The 5-8 Titans displayed a tough brand of football today. As for the Fins, they might have to take a backseat and let the Ravens be at the top of the AFC.

Interestingly, ESPN reported that per Next Gen Stats, the Dolphins had more than a 99% chance to win the game with about 4 minutes in the last quarter and the squad still managed to botch it. The Titans stunned the Phins when Will Levis managed to squeeze a 327-yard performance. He set a record for scoring the most passing yards by a rookie in MNF’s history.

Unc mentioned how the Dolphins fold when the other team tries to get physical with them. We saw that early in the game when Xavien Howard, Jaylen Waddle, and Connor Williams were injured. The game came as a surprise as the Titans managed to beat the now 9-4 Dolphins.
