The Harbaugh Bowl was well underway, and Troy Aikman was at it with his usual shenanigans. He dropped some bombs on the New York Giants on live TV and took some shots at John Mara, the owner of the franchise. Any guesses as to what he was on about this time? Well, it was about Daniel Jones getting his release from the NY franchise, but with a twist.

The Ravens were obliterating the Chargers and the host might have gotten bored of the one-sided beating. So, he chose to engage in some banter with his partner Joe Buck and started flaming the Giants. The conversation somehow shifted to the Eagles-Rams SNF game and Aikman brought up Saquon Barkley.

The Eagles running back had the game of his life yesterday, going for 255 yards and two touchdowns. It’s hard for any Giants fan to turn their attention away from this. Barkley started leaving everyone in the dust the moment he transferred to the Eagles. Anyways, Joe Schoen was catching a lot of heat for the Hard Knocks video where he told Barkley that he was being let go.

He pointed out how the Giants let go of Barkley to center the team around Daniel Jones, only to release their quarterback later. Honestly, what were they thinking? It’s like Joe Schoen gaslit himself. Anyways, Aikman said something along the lines of “And they decided to keep Daniel Jones, now they have neither.”

That’s completely true. And people can’t really hate Aikman for calling John Mara and his squad out. That’s because, let’s be honest, it wasn’t a well-thought-out decision. The Giants fans are upset at Aikman, while everyone else is just having a laugh about it.

People flame Troy Aikman

A fan didn’t like Aikman flaming the Giants and she let everyone know that she isn’t his biggest fan. The fan took to X and shared, “Troy Aikman hating on the Giants on mnf…. screw you.” Another fan was tired of his team catching strays and expressed his discontent saying, “Troy Aikman flaming the Giants & we’re not even playing 🤦🏾‍♂️.

A person was having a laugh listening to Joe Buck and Troy Aikman going back and forth to roast the New York Giants. He shared, “’And they decided to keep Daniel Jones, now they have neither’- Troy Aikman 😂😂’” This other fan, though, thought Aikman and Buck getting sidetracked from the task at hand was the most hilarious thing ever.

“It’s pretty hilarious that Joe Buck and Troy Aikman took a minute away from the Ravens-Chargers game to make fun of the Giants for being terrible,” wrote a person on X. Honestly, the flaming might be a bit warranted, looking at the decisions they’ve made in the off-season and in the middle of it.

Barkley wasn’t exactly at his best the last season with the Giants. In 14 games played, he scored 6 touchdowns over 962 yards. But this year, with the Eagles, he’s leading the league in rushing yards. He has even surpassed Derrick Henry in doing so. He has amassed 1,392 yards and has 10 touchdowns with six games remaining in the season. Truly, Barkley is something special.
