Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence‘s football year might not have been one for the books this season. But the beginning of this year in his personal life has been quite wonderful. The 25-year-old welcomed his first child with his wife, Marissa Lawrence, on January 4. And ever since, he has mostly been doing his fatherly duties, soaking in precious moments with his child. Marissa, the new mom, is also busy adjusting to this big change. She often hops on IG to seek suggestions from her followers on parenting. Recently, the new mom also shared a throwback of her sweet sixteen on her IG story. So, what’s new from the Lawrence family?
Well, it looks like Marissa took a trip down memory lane as she went through old photographs. Then, she decided to take her 358K followers along for the ride. Recently, Mrs. Lawrence shared a picture from their old yearbooks on her IG story. Marissa posted her pictures when she was 12 years old, and the Jaguars QB was 16. “Going through our old yearbooks (crying emojis) so sweet getting to grow up together. I love you so much @tlawrence16,” she wrote.
Trev and Marissa have been dating since they were in high school. The couple tied the knot in April 2021, the same year the Jaguars picked him as the first overall. In his first season with the team, the Jaguars ended up at the bottom of the AFC, scraping only three wins. Lawrence racked up 3,641 yards in his rookie season, but the QB had the most interceptions (17) that year. The following year, Trevor led the Jaguars straight to the top, putting nine wins in the column.

However, the year 2024 was a rollercoaster ride for the QB. A shoulder injury cut Trevor’s 2024 season short. On top of that, the QB also faced personal ups and downs, with his wife Marissa having troubles during her first pregnancy. The couple announced last year in June that they were expecting their first child. However, the following month, Marissa shared her struggles with the pregnancy in a long IG post. “Our doctor at the time had the sonogram up and basically said she was not seeing what she would expect to see at six weeks and prepared us for a miscarriage. We left the doctor’s office crying and confused,” read a part of her caption.
Well, fast forward to January, the couple welcomed their baby girl, Shae Lynn Lawrence, after a long journey. And now, they have been planning a trip with little Shae.

Marissa Lawrence asks her followers for travel tips
Well, being a mom is no easy task. Your entire life takes a turn after becoming a parent. Trevor and Marissa Lawrence are also going through that new-parent phase currently. Marissa often hops on IG whenever she needs suggestions about anything. And this time, she wants a few travel tips -not for holiday destination suggestions, but on how to travel with a newborn.
“Me and Trevor are planning a trip! What’s the best way to travel and store a couple of days’ worth of milk? I know there are milk chillers, but that’s usually only 20 hours. I’m thinking pump and have a Yeti backpack and keep a bunch of ice in it every day to keep it cold?? But maybe there’s an easier option,” Marissa posted on her IG story. So, all the moms out there, if you could, please drop in some advice for the new mom.

The QB’s wife also requested some wardrobe advice as a new mom. “Also, moms, breastfeeding fashion is a whole new wardrobe lol.
