Trent McDuffie, drafted in 2022, went from a rookie to a first-team All-Pro in his second year for the Kansas City Chiefs. The cornerback has lent a firm hand in solidifying the team’s stand, thus drawing the spectators’ eyes over his presence against the 49ers’ defense. And behind this rising star has been the unwavering support of his parents through adversities.

On Sunday, February 11, Trent McDuffie will make his second Super Bowl appearance. However, the journey to the pinnacle came with its challenges, and to help him through every hurdle were his parents, James and Michelle Duffie, the cornerback’s inspiration.
