Umm! The Kelce’s have a bit of a problem ahead of the Super Bowl 57 rematch. While this isn’t Kelce Bowl like the last time, as Jason Kelce had already retired last season, this game is still putting family loyalties at stake. And one person who has yet again found herself in a tough spot is none other than Donna Kelce. All eyes will be on Donna again when her younger son, Travis Kelce’s Chiefs, takes on her older son’s former team, Jason Kelce, in New Orleans.
See, the last time the Kelce brothers faced off against each other in a Super Bowl. Donna did something that caught everyone’s attention. She came to watch both of her sons wearing a split jersey. One half had the Eagles green and the other Chiefs red. She just didn’t prefer taking sides in a game where her sons were at the top of the world. However, this time, things are different with Jason Kelce retirement. This Sunday, it will only be Travis waiting to win his 4th Super Bowl title.
And maybe that’s why the Chiefs TE believes her mom should do things differently this time around. When Travis Kelce was asked whether Momma Kelce would be rocking the split jersey again in Super Bowl LIX, he made his feelings known about what he wants. “I would hope she doesn’t have the split jersey this time. Philly leaned in on my entire family for this one. I think she will be wearing red. I think everyone outside Jason and Kylie will be wearing red.”

Looks like we won’t be getting that iconic split jersey in New Orleans this time. But one thing is for sure: the other half of Kelce’s family isn’t changing whom they will be supporting. Just last week, Jason Kelce, on his New Heights Podcast, revealed the truth about which color he would be wearing for the Super Bowl, “I can’t wear Kansas City red for this one, Trav. I can’t wear, I can’t wear it. I can’t bring myself to it. I’m gonna wear my New Heights Big Yeti shirt, my yellow one. I’ll wear that.”

However, it isn’t like Kelce is short of supporters in his own family. His nieces are going to be there to support Uncle Trav on Sunday.
Kylie Kelce’s gesture finds appreciation from Travis Kelce
On the last episode of Kylie’s Not Gonna Lie podcast, the mom of three revealed how she found a way to send love for Travis Kelce via her daughters. She said, “I will say we have made moves to get the girls ‘Go Uncle, Trav’ shirts because they love their uncle. And, of course, they love cheering him on. And to be fair, they love cheering on the Birds too. But he is our family and I wanna make sure that the girls feel included.”

So, when Travis was asked to share his thoughts on Jason’s daughters wearing Uncle Trav shirts, he couldn’t help himself but express his warmest gratitude toward it. The 35-year-old said, “The fact that the girls are gonna be wearing Uncle Trav shirts, it warms my heart and gives me something else to fight for. Hopefully, I can make them proud and put a few smiles on their faces throughout the game.” Well, the actual goal of making those shirts is to help Travis play his best game on the night—as Kylie had already stated, “The goal of the day is to just cheer on the Chiefs and make sure that we cheer hard enough that Uncle Trav can feel the energy and he can put that right onto the field.”
So, Travis isn’t short on support in probably the biggest game of his career. But no matter how his family would want him to perform exceptionally, all he would want is for the Chiefs to win no matter what happens. That’s because the 3-peat remains the ultimate goal at the end of the day. Period!
