Another week, another brewing dispute on social media. Well, controversies on social media are common these days. But what if an influencer and a social media platform have a controversy? This may not be the most common controversy but one has recently occurred. Kayla Nicole, Travis Kelce’s ex has indicated that she intends to transition away from Instagram as her primary platform. The reason? Let’s just say Nicole has a massive problem with Meta, a firm worth $1.496 trillion.
Well, it all started when Kayla Nicole came on Instagram to discuss the challenges she has been experiencing. She stated that the platform asked if it could utilize her face for AI which she clearly denied. The NO was apparent for many reasons as no one, especially a celebrity/ influencer wants to do anything AI-related (for the sake of their privacy). However, this backfired massively on her. She is currently unable to access her Instagram filters and is unsure what to do. That’s a horrible thing, given that she is a beauty influencer.

She captioned her IG story, “Also, is anyone else front camera weird/gray now too? What is happening @instagram!? Whatever, steal my likeness just give me my filters baaaacck.” This is somewhere an irritating situation for her and she has even asked her fans who know tech to help her out. Maybe someone there can help her but the majority of the fans think that this cannot be fixed. They are assuming that IG did it intentionally.

While there is a pretty low possibility that Meta would do something like this. It seems Kayla Nicole has accepted that they did. And after this IG story, she has moved on to another social media. Where she claimed that her new content would be from now on.

Kayla Nicole surprisingly picks TikTok over Instagram Reels
Everyone knows that Instagram reels are dominating the most popular short video format right now. But Tiktok is well-known as the first king to rule it. While the app has recently lost its true worth, it appears that Kayla Nicole does not think so. The YouTuber believes TikTok is still a fantastic platform, and if she goes there, her fans will undoubtedly follow her.
This is why Nicole took on X to hint at the huge shift in social media. She stated that she would burn the platform with the new content she plans to upload. Her tweet read, “I’m gonna start treating TikTok like my burner account.”
I’m gonna start treating TikTok like my burner account. 🙂
